Rob Edwards along with Gary O'Neil are two of the initial candidates under consideration to succeed the former manager as head coach of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The previous coach was dismissed on Sunday after the squad's ten-game winless beginning to the top-flight campaign.
And Edwards and O'Neil - each of whom have historic links to the team - are part of the names to be evaluated by the Wolves leadership.
